A cycle ride? On the Jubilee bank holiday weekend? Yes please!
On Sunday 5th June 2022 – the last day of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend – bicycle riders will line up and wait at Henstridge Airfield, Somerset, ready to tackle 30km, 60km or 100km of beautiful West Country scenery.
Who’s organising Ride4Hugo?
The Ride4Hugo cycle event is being organised in memory of Hugo Yaxley, nephew of actress and HVH Arts patron Helen McCrory OBE, by Hugo’s brother Tom Yaxley (a regular sportive cyclist), with support from an experienced charity team.
With three different distances (and mostly left-turns!) the ride is designed to appeal to families, experienced and new riders alike.
Both of these special people, Hugo and Helen, tragically passed away in 2021. Tom is determined to honour his brother’s and aunt’s memories, and is organising Ride4Hugo to raise money for four charities which were close to their hearts – including HVH Arts. (Thanks Tom, you’re amazing!)

How do I get involved?
HVH Arts are thrilled to have the support of Tom and the Ride4Hugo team, and we’d all love you to sign up and join the ride on 5th June in Somerset.
Entrants can additionally opt to raise extra sponsorship for HVH Arts if they’d like to.
