CEO

Debbi Clark studied art at The Central St Martin’s College of Art, where she acquired a great insight into the world of fashion and style and fell in love with the photographic arts. She went on to gain a BA Hons in photography at the London College of Printing. Debbi is a professional photographer and owns a successful media company. She is on the board of Directors of Collingham Gardens Nursery school in Bloomsbury, London. Debbi has substantial experience as a professional charity fundraiser.

Dee Johnston
Programme Coordinator

Dee is an accomplished professional with 15+ years working in the financial sector with extensive experience leading on business administration, project and event management. During the past 4 years, Dee has worked independently for a local Charity within business development and as part of a Trustee Board at St. Paul’s CoE Primary School NW7.

Spider J
The Music Mentoring Project Director

Spider J is a producer, songwriter and musician actively touring and playing festivals around the world specialises in urban, dub, hip hop, reggae and pop genres. Spider J has been a Trustee at Roundhouse since 2013 & plays a huge part in the Roundhouse’s annual outreach programme, On Track. He regularly hosts weekly ‘Music Producers Drop In’ sessions, mentoring the young artists of the future. As lead artist tutor and producer, he works closely with young creatives to help them realise their potential, focussing on music production and live performance. Spider J has worked with: Stevie Wonder, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, The Wailers, Madness, Bad Manners, Dizzie Rascal, Kano, Estelle, Beverley Knight, Wiley, Roots Manuva, Gary Oldman, Pet Shop Boys, Girli, Amahla, Awate & many more.

Lily Alice Clark
Creative Director

Lily Alice Clark is completing her Master’s Degree in Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Bristol. Lily has always had a passion for the performing arts and a desire to help people. Lily performed as Hamlet with the Shakespeare Foundation at the Shaw Theatre and has since, always indulged her creative side alongside her academic work. In her spare time, she has spent the past five years contributing to HvH Arts and helping young people find their way in the Performing Arts and the HvH community. Lily has lead her own courses in the Performing Arts, from helping children write and produce a screenplay about their feelings after lockdown to choreographing Christmas Shows and recreating Micheal Jackson’s ‘Thriller’. She has also been a crucial part of the HAF programs, filming media content, and editing videos for fundraising campaigns and exhibitions.

Susana Hill
Director of HvH Photography Academy

Susana Hill is a photographer specialising in documentary and street photography. Since graduating in Photography, Video and Digital Imaging, she has self-published a photobook and has had her first solo show at the Photobook Cafe in London. Her work has been exhibited in several group shows around the UK and she has been invited to talk about her work by Newcastle College and the Escuela de Arte Granada, where she grew up. Since working with HvH Arts, Susana has been very inspired by the children’s passion to capture what they see in the most raw possible way. This passion combined with seeing what they could achieve with a bit of guidance on photographic techniques, is what sparked the idea to create the HvH photography Academy. Students are taught everything from the basic camera settings to the more intricate lighting techniques, all so they can gain the most creative freedom possible.

Sarah Clark
Duty of Care Psychotherapist

BSc Psychology, MSc Psychodynamics of Human Development, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and Artist. Sarah is an experienced and passionate psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, adults and families in multiple NHS settings, and has a private practice. As the Duty of Care Psychotherapist at HvH Arts, Sarah ensures the emotional stability of the children by identifying, preventing, supporting, and protecting them from any negative impact of social media. Sarah designed a duty of care framework; used in relation to social media safeguarding, risk and negative impact. She also provides reflective practice, training workshops, and consultation to the staff on general topics and neurodiversity to enhance their capacity to support the well-being of those they work with. With our CEO Debbi Clark, Sarah designed the HvH Arts’ Mental Health – Building Resilience Programme, a tailored initiative aimed at fostering emotional strength and adaptability in the children.

Patricia Jones
Patricia Jones
Artistic Director

Patricia studied at London college of Fashion, which allowed her to explore her creativity and discover her own technique. From this she established herself as a successful personal stylist. She has since worked on many photo shoots in addition to work as a creative art director. Patricia has been involved in supporting charities including Barth Syndrome, a condition her nephew has, and running the London marathon for fundraising. Her work with HVH ARTS has been inspirational and exciting, acting as a personable mentor for young people, able to impart her unique perspective through style and fashion.

Marcella Martinelli
Fashion Director

Marcella was born in Geneva of Italian parents and arrived in London at 17. Her first Job was at Vivienne Westwood followed by a stint in the Royal Court where she fell in love with the Theatre. After eight years at How to Spend It, FT as fashion Editor she joined various other magazine where she is creative Fashion & Jewellery director. Working on a BAFTA shoot in 2012 she met Helen McCrory whom she developed a close relationship with, styling her for Red Carpet events and photo shoots which led her to meet the founder of HvH Arts Debbi Clark. Marcella worked alongside our CEO Debbi Clark in co-curating HvH Arts annual exhibition for ‘The McCrory Award’ in 2022.

Jenny Mulholland
Fundraising Advisor

Jenny has been a Camden councillor for the Gospel Oak ward since 2017. She is a passionate champion of HvH ARTS’ crucial role as a grassroots youth organisation, in supporting, inspiring and uplifting not only our children and young people, but also their families and the whole local community. She loves that at HvH, every child can have the opportunity to explore and discover their artistic passions, develop their unique talents, express themselves and be who they want to be.
