Company 3 is proud to have partnered with charity HVH Arts to help produce their short film ‘Mixed Messages.’ Funded by ’The McCrory Award’ at HvH ARTS, the film is directed by Sacha Kowalewski and written by Aaron Devine, Giada Amira, Josh Bamgbose, and Sienna Rackal.
The film, which premiered at our studio in London, follows a group of young adults navigating through the challenges of relationships, friendships, social media, and technology.
To bring the film to life, Company 3 donated time and resources to edit, grade, and sound-mix the film. Working on the grade was Colorist James Slattery; Jeremy Crichton completed the titles and sound mixing by Mathew Knights, all being produced by Cody Cardarelli.
Missy Papageorge, Co-Founder of Company 3 comments, “HvH Arts is a brilliant organization run by Debbi Clark. They support and mentor the kids with the most aspirational opportunities to support their career paths. These are the kind of projects that make me the most proud of how far Company 3 has come and the incredible outreach abilities it has-it not only warms my heart but it feeds the soul of the company. I look forward to working with Debbi and HvH again. What an incredible bunch of kids.”
Commenting on taking part in the film, actor and writer Sienna Rackal said, “I am proud to be a ‘McCrory Award’ winner; making the short film ‘Mixed Messages’ is one of the most exciting opportunities I have ever been given. I love acting, and working with professionals in the film industry has given me so much confidence and inspiration and has increased my love of acting even more. Debbi at HvH Arts mentors me as a part of the McCrory Award; I feel so lucky to have been given this amazing opportunity.”
