Our young band The Crimson, having been developed on The Music Mentoring Project at HvH ARTS (cohort ages 13yrs to 21yrs), had the most amazing opportunity to perform at the iconic festival LATITUDE this year!
THE CRIMSON is a young band from Camden who have been developed over the past three years as part of The Music Mentoring Project at youth arts charity HvH ARTS Influenced by urban-pop R&B, this is an eclectic group of brilliant young musicians aged from 15 to 18 who write and perform their own music.
Being mentored by our CEO Debbi Clark and our Director of Music Spider J have made the most incredible journey over the past 4 yrs playing at Ronnie Scotts, Summer by The River, Camden Inspire, Camden Night Market, The Scoop, The House of St Barnabus, Primrose Hill Festival, Alma Street Festival, Somers Town Festival, FYA Festival, Wilderness Festival, HvH ARTS Festival, and this was their biggest gig yet LATITUDE 25 – They have also made a short documentary ‘Rock U Mentory’ which will be screened in January 2026.
With having FREE access to professional rehearsal space at Pirate Studios being funded by Studios for All grant we have had the capacity to rehearse every single weekend for the past two years, this had increased their skills tremendously growing into a confident, young band who writes, arranges and performs their own songs.
We are extremely proud of their discipline and commitment in their music.
