The Music Mentoring Project

Funded by: AMPLIFY LONDON MUSIC / Childhood Trust / The Big Give / BGC Charity Day

We support cohorts: 8yrs to 11yrs / 12yrs to 21yrs

Our CEO Debbi Clark developed The Music Mentoring Project in 2021 – this program is one of our most prolific programs to date. The impact of giving children and young people free access to learn the art of music has evolved into our oldest cohort in the ‘LiveBand’ project has been one of significance.

Our cohort ages 12yrs to 21yrs have been funded for a Music Documentary and Summer Tour 24 –  playing live at Wilderness Festival, Camden Inspire, The SCOOP-Summer by the River, Ronnie Scott’s, House of St Barnabas and HvH ARTS Summer Festival.

We have created opportunities for children and young people to gain unique skills of making their own E.P, writing lyrics, meeting guest artists, recording, writing and production. We have an expert group of mentors that help our young people to gain confidence through developing their creativity. The workshops result in music videos accessible to the public, music live on streaming services and fully developed merchandise.

This course is a world class masterclass in music and business education whilst simultaneously encouraging young people at risk to be part of a community of likeminded artists and entrepreneurs.

Music Mentoring

Dimensions Programme

A project in partnership with Greenhouse Sports

Our aim is to increase the Dimensions of our Inner-City Youth. Currently, both Greenhouse Sports and HVH ARTS run educational programs aimed at developing the skill sets of their young people. Greenhouse Sports is one of the leading Sports coaching and mentorship charities in London, whilst HVH ARTS is the leading arts charity supporting young people in their TMMP Programme, developing and mentoring young people in music and drama. We aim to increase breadth of opportunity and skill in the London’s youth via access to bespoke theatre and music programs. By courting the skillsets and young adults of both charities, we will be able to provide a unique experience via a program that, for the first time, combines the arts and sport.
