-
Weekly and bi-weekly mentoring sessions
-
Specialist workshops
-
Professional masterclasses
-
Industry networking opportunities
-
Career readiness training
-
Professional advice sessions led by Steven Robertson
-
Writing creative CVs
-
Articulating their artistic practice
-
Preparing for interviews
-
Understanding professional expectations
“The arts teach children that problems can have more than one solution and that questions can have more than one answer.”
Elliot W. Eisner
“By providing a platform for self expression, we empower young people to explore their identities and develop growth and confidence for their future.”
Debbi Clark, CEO
“The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination.”
Albert Einstein
Impact So Far
What our Beneficiaries Have Achieved
- The participants have become more aware of the wide range of professional opportunities in the creative industry
- They have been able to explore their individual career interests through a series of creative mini-courses, giving them a taster of different artistic industries
- They have developed their artistic and digital employability and entrepreneurial skills
- They started creating their own physical and digital portfolios to showcase their work to support them in their future careers
The programme so far has been a brilliant success and the impact has been so significant that we are applying for further funding to ensure its longevity and incorporate it into the HvH Arts ethos.
If you would like to help ensure that creative career programmes for teens and at-risk children can continue its impact, please donate.
